FF / CAPABILITY 01
Strategy + Positioning
Direction before movement.
THE PROBLEM
Most digital work fails quietly at the start: the offer is unclear, the audience is assumed, and the plan is a list of deliverables rather than a route. Activity follows, progress doesn't.
OUR PERSPECTIVE
We study the business, customer, offer, competition and current digital journey before deciding what should be built. Where is growth actually being lost? That question comes before any recommendation.
WHAT WE CAN BUILD

Common questions.
What is business positioning?
Positioning is the set of decisions about what a business sells, who it serves best, why a buyer should choose it over alternatives, and what evidence supports that claim. Rather than a slogan, it is the commercial logic that everything downstream, from the website to the advertising, has to express. When positioning is unclear, every downstream asset inherits the confusion.
How do I know if my website problem is actually a positioning problem?
Ask people who match your target customer to read your homepage for thirty seconds and explain what the business does, who it is for and why it is different. If they cannot, the problem is positioning and a redesign will only restyle it. We wrote about this test in detail in Why a new website will not fix an unclear offer.
What happens before Founder Flite recommends a website or campaign?
Diagnosis. We study the business, the customer, the offer and the current journey to find where growth is actually being lost, following the approach we publish. The recommendation comes out of that work, which is why it sometimes differs from the original brief.
Do we need a full rebrand to improve our positioning?
Usually not. Positioning is decided in words and choices before it is expressed in design, and many businesses can implement clearer positioning through rewritten messaging on their existing identity. A rebrand becomes necessary only when the current name or identity actively contradicts the new position.
